GEORGIA BREAKER GIRLS BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Game Rules For Breakers Fall League: Georgia High School Rules apply unless otherwise stated below:
FOUR 10 minute RUNNING clock quarters
Clock stops ONLY during the last 1 minute of the FOURTH quarter, only.
ONE minute rest between quarters
THREE minute rest at halftime
TIME OUTS: 2 -Thirty Second Time Outs per half - No carry-over. 1-Thirty Second Time Out per Overtime Period.
Free Throws: 1/1 on the 7th Team Foul per half, Double Bonus on 10th
The scorekeeper will record the number of team and individual fouls.
No pressing by team if ahead by 20 points or more.
Clock will run continually anytime a team is winning by 30 points or more.
OVERTIME: 3 minutes: clock stops the last minute. If there is a need for a second overtime, it will be SUDDEN DEATH, i.e., the first team to score wins.
The Referees are in charge of the game at all times.
Technical fouls will be given at the sole discretion of referees. Two technical fouls will result in an automatic ejection from the game. Any player or coach who is ejected from a game will not be allowed the play in any other games on that day or the following day of games.
The referees will also have unlimited discretion to eject unruly parents after one warning. If a parent is ejected from the gym, his or her child will not be allowed to play in any more games.
