Grace Cross Cultural Ministries invites you to help a child- in Ghana, West Africa!

Grace Cross Cultural Ministries, partnering with Atlanta churches and   a group of individuals dedicated to serving a desperate need in Ghana, W. Africa are collecting items to be sent to GCCM’s new youth center in Ghana.   A large shipping container has been placed at  Peachtree Road United Methodist Church  and between now and March 25^th we will be collecting items (see below) to be sent to a group of villages located outside of the city of Kumasi.  The items will be used for a new youth complex being developed there.  

Once the shipping container has arrived and its contents dispersed, it will then be converted into office space for a soccer complex/community center. The land that has been acquired for this complex is centrally located amongst four poverty-stricken villages.

Reverend Peter Frimpong, President of Grace Cross Cultural Ministries has been active as an instructor and referee for PRUMC’s  Department of Sports and Recreation’s youth soccer programs for more than 15 years.  During that time he has also been active in the Atlanta area raising resources and running youth sport programs at inner city parks and grammar schools.   GCCM was incorporated in Georgia in 1992 as a non-proft organization and qualified as a 501©(3) organization as of 1998.

Many of us have witnessed the impact of organized sports on our children in developing character and fostering hope. Reverend Frimpong and the other partners are dedicated to providing the same opportunity to the children in Ghana. The items needed are listed below:

Soccer balls, equipment, and uniforms

Children’s clothing

Bicycles

Appliances

Bibles

Musical Instruments
