Minimum playing time rule: All players must play at least half of each
game – preferably at least half of each quarter.
(Basketball Only) All players must check in (kneel below) the scorer’s
table in order to sub. into the game.
Midway through each quarter, the clock will stop and the buzzer will sound
(at a dead ball or at the referee's discretion). The ref will call for subs
and all players on the bench must be ready to enter the game.
Free substitutions may take place as long as the minimum playing time rule
is satisfied.
