FINAL PAYMENTS ARE DUE ONE WEEK PRIOR TO CAMP. Please make your check(s) payable to
PRUMC. You may also pay with a Mastercard or Visa by filling out the enclosed
form. Payments may be sent to:
Recreation & Sports Department
We have enclosed two forms* (Emergency Information/Consent and General Waiver/Release) that must be filled out and signed to complete your child’s registration. PLEASE RETURN All INCLUDED FORMS TO THE CHURCH WITH YOUR PAYMENT. We must have them on file for your child to participate in camp activities.
*Some camps require additional waiver / release forms (such as Field Trip Permission). These forms have been included with your packet.
Campers must be signed in and out of camp daily. There will be other church-related camps and activities going on at the church during this week, so your child should enter the Recreation building from the rear parking lot of the church to avoid confusion.
Included with this letter is a list of times at which camp activities will end. As these times vary depending on the camp, please be aware of the time your child must be picked up. Late fees will be charged at the rate of $5 for every 5 minutes parents are late to pick up their camper.
·
Sack
lunch. We have a refrigerator to keep whatever creative, healthy lunch you
choose to pack for your child! Include a
drink if you like, and remember to label all with your child’s name. *Please
do not pack a lunch that requires microwave preparation.
·
Water
bottle. We will have water coolers, but water bottles are important for
children to stay hydrated on hot afternoons.
Please mark bottle clearly with your child’s name.
· Change for vending machines (optional). If your child wants to buy a snack or soft drink from the vending machines, he/she will be allowed to do so during lunchtime and snack breaks. Soft drinks are 50˘, sports drinks are $1.25 and vending machine snacks are 60-75˘. We provide frequent water breaks daily.
If your child requires medication during camp hours, we must ask that you follow these guidelines:
· Provide a written permission slip for the child for the week the medication is to be administered. This slip should include very specific instructions for administering the medication and the correct dosage.
· Send medication in its original, labeled bottle or container with its prescription information included.
· Give the medication with your written permission slip and written instructions directly to PRUMC staff or to your child’s camp counselor. We will not accept the medicine from your child.
