Young Chef's Academy Summer Camps
July 16-20 (Ages older 3s - 4s)
July 23-27 (Ages 5-7)
Fees: $179(all materials included)
Camp Can-I-Cook at PRUMC will teach campers 2 - 3 recipes each day, primarily no-cook and no-bake recipes. Recipes will be prepared and eaten by the kids each day; “take-home” goodies may be included a time or two during the week. EVERY WEEK, kids will take home the recipe(s) that they have prepared during the cooking camp sessions.
Camps will be taught by a Young Chefs Academy chef teacher, accompanied by an experienced assistant. As at Young Chefs Academy in Sandy Springs, cooking instruction is geared to the age of campers.
Cooking camps will familiarize students with diverse foods, while they experience what it feels like to create and taste recipes themselves. Kids will learn many different kitchen safety rules, table manners, as well as use of different kitchen appliances

We will occasionally use small kitchen appliances, such as blenders, griddles, hotplates, etc. But, the majority of the recipes will feature no-cook & no-bake recipes, with a heavy emphasis on basic culinary skills, such as how to measure/mix/stir, table setting, manners & etiquette, math-and-science in the kitchen, etc.
