Location: 

All classes will meet in the computer lab in the Department of Sports, Recreation, & Life Enrichment, located by the parking lot in the back of the church, between the Fellowship Hall & the children’s playground.

Course Offerings:

 

Internet

Discover how to use the keyboard & mouse, access & utilize many features of the Internet, & search for websites & information on the world wide web. This class is appropriate for beginning or infrequent computer users.

Prerequisite: None

Thursdays, 9:30-10:30

 

Email

Learn how to send & reply to email, work with attachments, create address books & distribution lists, & more!

Prerequisite: Working knowledge of a computer and Internet Explorer

Thursdays, 9:45-10:45

 

 

Word Processing

Become proficient at creating & saving documents & working with, printing, & editing text.

Prerequisite: Working knowledge of a computer

Thursdays, 2:00-3:00 pm

 

Excel Spreadsheets

Find out how to create & work with lists & tables & keep bookkeeping records on a computer (allow it to do the math!).

Prerequisite: Working knowledge of a computer and experience with Microsoft Word

Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30

 

 

Microsoft Publisher

Learn how to create signs, flyers, brochures, menus, programs, and more by working with this user-friendly publishing software!

Prerequisite: working knowledge of a computer and experience with Microsoft Word
