September 16 - October 22 Location: All classes will meet in the computer lab in the Department of Sports, Recreation, & Life Enrichment, located by the parking lot in the back of the church, between the Fellowship Hall & the children’s playground.

Course Offerings :Intro to Computers I A course designed for those with no or little experience with computers. We use hands-on to make you comfortable operating the computer. You will learn terminology, parts of the computer, use of the mouse and keyboard, and get a general understanding of the computer. Cost: $75 – ($50 discount for Seniors 65 years and older) Email & Internet Classes This class is designed for people with some experience using email and the Internet. The class covers browsing, searching, and shopping on the Internet. E-mail topics include composing, sending, replying, forwarding and deleting messages, and more. Wednesdays OR Cost: $75 – ($50 discount for Seniors 65 years and older) Beginning Microsoft Word This course teaches the basics of constructing simple documents. We cover changing fonts, size of type, cut or copy and paste, and spell check. Saving and retrieving documents, changing margins, using the thesaurus, and printing features will also be taught. Prerequisite: Intro to Computers I Cost: $75 – ($50 discount for Seniors 65 years and older) |
